About
Author. Songwriter. Musical Artist.
Born on the 6th of February 1959, the 4th in a family of 6, Stephen came into the world with very little hope of surviving according to the team of doctors that assisted in the birthing process. Only one, either Stephen or his mother, was going to make it through the very traumatic operation.
Stephen's father, a man of great faith and a minister of the Gospel, was given a choice. If he wanted his wife to survive, then the baby must be aborted. But if he decided otherwise, then this would be the last time he would see his wife alive.
Both survived by the miracle working power of the Almighty God.
So in the same spirit that Elisha called on the God of Elijah, I cry out to the God of my father to show Himself strong and lift up a standard against a very present evil that seeks to destroy this current generation.
The Book
The play that gave the album its name. Stephen has been writing these songs for over forty years, and they live inside the story he published in 2015.
The book is where the project began. The record is its companion. The musical is what comes next.
